At Integrative Practitioners, we believe in offering the full spectrum of treatment options so are pleased to announce that we are now able to accept patient referrals for the NYS Medical Marijuana Program. 

 

Patients MUST meet one of the following criteria:​

• chronic pain

• PTSD

• cancer

• HIV infection or AIDS

• amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

• Parkinson's disease

• multiple sclerosis 

• spinal cord injury with objective neurological indication of intractable spasticity

•  epilepsy

• inflammatory bowel disease

• neuropathy

• Huntington's disease

 

Patients must also have one of the following associated or complicating conditions: cachexia or wasting syndrome, severe or chronic pain, severe nausea, seizures, or severe or persistent muscle spasms. 

 

In order to get started, several steps must be taken including providing evidence of the qualifying condition. This verification can be provided either by obtaining: 1. a referral from the health care provider treating this condition or 2. the most recent exam note.
